Kali ini aku bakal bahas tentang deck Lightray Sorcerer yang pernah aku kirim untuk ikut Florsheim Deck Chalenge : Lightray Sorcerer, dan salah satu kartu di enginenya pernah di sebut dipembahasan result rubrik tersebut.

Dengan kartu ini kita bisa langsung membanish 2 Monster dari Grave, dan membuat hand card kita bertambah 1. Tumbal untuk Phoenix Blade ini merupakan warrior, sedangkan Lightray Sorcerer butuh Light monster yang terbanish pilihan engine jatuh ke Lightsworn yang punya cukup banyak warrior (Ehren, Garoth, Jain), kemampuan millnya juga dapat membuat Phoenix Blade masuk Grave, kita juga bisa Bawa Charge of  The Light Brigade dan Solar Recharge untuk mempercepat mill.

Memang bisa memasukkan 3 Lightsworn tadi masing2 3, tapi tentu saja terlalu mainstream. Kita coba cari alternative warrior yang lain.

Kemampuannya mendestroy dan membuat controllernya mendraw kartu bisa kita abuse.

Bisa bawa dark monster seperti Tragoedia,  Gorz, Sangan (kalau bawa monster kecil), dan atau Tour Guide from The Underworld kalau memakai format TCG.
Sekarang masalahnya jika Phoenix Blade nyangkut di tangan, bisa bawa Lightning Vortex, Phoenix Wing Wind Blast atau Raigeki Break

Reinforcement of The Army, bawa karena banyak targetnya
Lightning Vortex, buat buang Phoenix Blade yang nyangkut, bisa bawa 1-2, karena equip2 kita punya potensi kebuang semua
Monster Reincarnation, buat buang Phoenix Blade yang nyangkut, dan merecycle monster yang dibutuhkan

Raigeki Break/Phoenix Wing Wind Blast bawa 1-2 sesuaikan meta di tempatmu
Royal Decree (kalau g bawa trap lain) bawa 2-3
Treacherous Trap Hole, kalau ga bawa trap
Sisanya bisa masukan Staple

Playstyle :
Deck ini merupakan deck Control, seperti halnya Twilight/LS pada umumnya, menghilangkan kartu-kartu pengganggu via Ryko, Lumina, Lightray Sorcerer, BLS dsb.
